S/mileage 1st Live Tour Announced

According to a recent blog entry by Ogawa Saki, S/mileage will be having their first live tour during October. She revealed three dates (October 9, 23, 30) as well as the venues were the concerts will be held.

The dates have yet to be confirmed by UFA but if a S/mileage member posts it then it most likely is true since managers usually check their posts before they publish them, so hopefully all S/mileage fans can go and support the members.

The performance times and more details about the tour will probably be revealed in the upcoming weeks by UFA, so hopefully they get as many performances as possible to promote their upcoming 2nd single (or probably their 3rd or even 4th if UFA is releasing singles in the same way as Mano during her debut).

• 10/9 Club Diamond Hall (Aichi)
• 10/23 Shibuya C.C. Lemon Hall (Tokyo)
• 10/30 Nanba Hatch (Osaka)

The official S/mileage Myspace page has been opened.

The site features previews for four of their songs (both A and B side’s of their Yume Miru 15sai single as well as Otona ni Narutte Muzukashii!!! and Suki-chan), a schedule, links to the official S/mileage site, profiles for each of the members, as well as CMs for the AR promotion and their latest single Yume Miru 15sai.

Maeda Yuuka’s 1st Solo Image DVD Announced

Maeda Yuuka’s 1st solo image DVD has been announced. As is expected of solo DVD releases a PB announcement should come in the following weeks.

To be honest I am not that surprised about the announcement since it was only a matter of time before Yuuka got a PB for many reasons such as her popularity as well as her incredible cuteness.

The only thing that surprises me is how fast they are going to release it since it will be released a little over a few weeks after S/mileage’s 2nd major single, but I am glad that we are getting another solo image (and unannounced PB) release.

S/mileage 2nd Major Single Announced

S/mileage’s 2nd major single, currently untitled, has been announced on E-hon. According to E-hon there will be a regular version and three limited versions.

As expected from any new performer/group the first few releases are released fast, like Mano’s first five major singles, so it wasn’t that surprising to see another S/mileage single already being announced for release 2 months after their first major single.

Promotion for S/mileage has been incredible so far since they have appeared on TV shows, radio shows, and magazines, as well as having new and different promotions (for example the augmented reality camera promotion), so it is safe to say that the promotion will probably help with sales for this single.
